November 17, 2024 – – – The Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series season concluded on November 15-16 in the ‘Peach State Classic’ at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. On Friday night with a $20,000 paycheck up for grabs, Cory Hedgecock fought through electrical issues early in the evening and unfortunately was not able to transfer into the 40-lap feature that was won by Ricky Thornton, Jr.
Things went much smoother for the #23 team on Saturday evening in the ‘Peach State Classic’ finale, which boasted a $30,000 top prize. On a much smoother racing surface, Cory qualified ninth quickest in Group A during time trials prior to grabbing the third transfer spot through his heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the ninth row in the 75-lapper, the Loudon, Tennessee ace wound up sixteenth at the unfurling of the checkered flag.
