January 18, 2020 - Hedgecock Charges 15 Spots in Sunshine Nationals Finale
Saturday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) piloting the Jerry Green-owned No. 14 Late Model for the Sunshine Nationals finale. In a field of 43 Newsome Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series entries, Hedgecock laid down the 10th fastest time in his qualifying group before placing 7th in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Cory scored a runner-up finish behind Mark Whitener which positioned him 23rd on the starting grid for the main event. Wheeling his way into the Top-10, Cory Hedgecock passed 15 cars in the 30-lap affair to place 8th.

January 5, 2020 - Top 5 Finish in Crate Portion of Ice Bowl at Talladega
Cory Hedgecock visited Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Saturday afternoon pulling double duty for the 29th annual Ice Bowl. With 35 Super Late Models registered in for action, Hedgecock followed up the third fastest lap in his time trial group with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting the $6,000-to-win A-Main on Sunday in 13th, Cory got caught behind a wreck on the ninth lap that forced him to retire early.

In a field of 34 Newsome Crate Racin’ USA Winter Series entries, Cory laid down the fastest time overall in his qualifying group before placing 2nd in his heat behind Jimmy Elliott. With $3,000 on the line in the feature on Sunday afternoon, Hedgecock jumped up one spot to place 5th behind Jimmy Elliott, Ronnie Johnson, Pierce McCarter, and Chase Walls.
