September 30, 2018 - 2nd Place Finish in King of Crate 60 at NAS
1After Mother Nature shifted the event back a day, Cory Hedgecock headed to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) on Saturday night for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series sanctioned King of Crate 60. Following the fastest time in his qualifying group, Hedgecock cruised to a 10-lap heat race win positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Taking control of the lead for the first 42 circuits, Cory dropped one spot in the remaining 18 laps to place 2nd behind Jake Knowles with Eric Hickerson, Ashton Winger, and Seth McCormack completing the Top-5 finishers. September 22, 2018 - Hedgecock Attends Cotton Pickin' 100 at Magnolia
1Friday night saw Cory Hedgecock in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the two-day Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. With a stout field of 57 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Hedgecock followed up the tenth fastest time in his qualifying group with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Chris Ferguson. Starting the $4,000-to-win A-Main in 7th, Cory slipped back to a 22nd place outing in the 30-lap affair. (Mitchell Jenkins photo)

Returning on Saturday for the $12,000 top prize, Cory locked his spot into the finale with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Chris Ferguson. Overtaking Ferguson for the lead on lap 15, Hedgecock held the top spot for the next 27 circuits until Austin Rettig took control on lap-42. Suffering a flat left-rear tire on lap-56, Cory Hedgecock salvaged an 18th place outing in the 70-lapper.

September 15, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Back in Victory Lane at I-75 Raceway
1 Powering the Valley Transport #9 Super Late Model, Cory Hedgecock was one of 31 Southern All Star Series entries signed in at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Dirt Slinger Classic. Laying down the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Jay Scott, Hedgecock earned the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main. Overtaking Kenny Collins late in the race, Cory Hedgecock built a 2.6 second lead over Collins by the time he crossed the line en route to his 14th win of the season over Collins, Jason Manley, Joeseph Faulkner, and Ryan Tims. September 3, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in J. Paul Smith Memorial at Crossville
Cory Hedgecock visited Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Monday night for the inaugural J. Paul Smith Memorial. Battling for the $4,000 payday in the feature, Hedgecock posted a 2nd place finish behind Jensen Ford with Jake Trague, Josh Henry, and Brandon Williams completing the Top-5 finishers.
