May 19, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Attends Steelhead Nationals at 411
Cory Hedgecock visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night pulling double duty in the Steelhead and Crate Late Model ranks. With 28 Steelheads on hand for the $3,500-to-win Steelhead Nationals, Hedgecock laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying before picking up a heat race victory. Rolling off on the pole, Cory got caught behind a wreck while leading on lap-30 dropping him out of contention for the top spot. He was eventually disqualified for exiting his car while on the track to survey the damage.

In the Crate Late Model division, Cory locked his spot into the show with the fourth fastest qualifying time. Starting in 4th, Hedgecock was an early retiree on lap-11 while being credited with a 9th place outing.

May 12, 2018 - Hedgecock Back in Victory Lane at The Gap; Top 5 Finish in Crate
1On Saturday night Cory Hedgecock returned to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) competing in both the Steelhead and Crate Late Model divisions. With 26 Steelhead Late Models registered in for action, Hedgecock laid down the third fastest time in qualifying locking him into the 3rd-starting position for the feature. Charging into the lead on opening lap, Cory held off Barrett Lowe in the closing laps to capture his second straight victory and ninth overall. Lowe, Austin Neely, Gary Crittenden, and Greg Estes completed the Top-5 finishers in the 25-lap affair. (Chad Wells photo)

During the same night in the Crate Late Model ranks, Hedgecock locked his spot into the show with the 11th fastest time in a field of 21 cars. Reeling in a Top-5 finish in the feature, Cory jumped up six spots to place 5th behind Jason Welshan, Rusty Ballenger, Tim Byrd, and Jesse Lowe.

May 5, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Wins in Steelhead at Volunteer Speedway
1Pulling double duty in the Steelhead and Crate Late Model ranks, Cory Hedgecock visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Saturday evening. In a field of 11 Steelhead Late Models, Hedgecock timed in fastest overall in qualifying positioning him on the pole for the feature. Leading from flag-to-flag, Cory topped David Crabtree, Barrett Lowe, Jason Trammell, and Jordon Horton at the line to pick up his eighth win of the season. (Chad Wells photo)

In the Crate Late Model division, Hedgecock recorded the second fastest time in a field of 21 cars before retiring early from the feature on lap 7.
