March 30, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Bags Second Straight Win in UCRA Opener at I-75
1Behind the wheel of the Cushman #23 Crate Late Model entry, Cory Hedgecock traveled to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA) season opener. With 15 cars on hand for the Spring Loaded Easter 40, Cory laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying before charging to a heat race victory. Rolling off on the pole, Hedgecock held off Jimmy Elliott in the 40-lap affair to capture the $2,000 payday along with his second straight win and third overall on the season. Ruben Mayfield, Josh Henry, and Anthony White completed the Top-5 finishers.

March 23, 2018 - Hedgecock Wins Crate Feature at Boyd's; Top 10 Finish With LOLMDS
1On Friday night Cory Hedgecock made the short trip to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) competing in both the Super and Crate Late Model divisions for The Shamrock. Drawing 44 Super Late Models for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned contest, Hedgecock jumped up one spot in his heat race landing a 2nd place finish behind Scott Bloomquist. Earning the 8th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Cory improved one spot in the 50-lapper to place 7th. (Chad Wells photo)

In the Crate Late Model ranks, Hedgecock posted the fastest time overall in qualifying locking him into the pole position for the feature. Jumping into the lead on the opening lap, Cory led wire-to-wire en route to his second win of the season over Ethan Hunter, Chip Brindle, Riley Hickman, and Ahnna Parkhurst. Cory was awarded a $1,500 payday for his dominant performance in the 25-lap affair.

March 3, 2018 - Podium Finish With ULTIMATE SE at North Georgia
Cory Hedgecock made the trip to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Saturday night for the ULTIMATE Southeast Series season opener. In a field of 31 Super Late Models, Hedgecock laid down the second fastest time in his group earning him the 3rd-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Overtaking Ray Cook on lap 5, Hedgecock held the top spot until lap 22 when Michael Page slipped by for the lead. Hanging on to a podium finish in the 40-lap affair, Cory Hedgecock posted a 3rd place spot behind Page and Mike Marlar with Jason Welshan and Aaron Ridley completing the Top-5 finishers.
