June 30, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in Salute to America Nationals Opener
Friday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) kicking off the Salute to America Nationals. With 34 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series entries signed in, Cory laid down the quickest time in his qualifying group positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 50-lap affair, Hedgecock posted a 3rd place finish behind Cruz Skinner and Ronnie Johnson with Will Roland and Jake Knowles completing the Top-5 finishers.

Saturday's program at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) was rained out by Mother Nature.

June 23, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Dominates J.T. Kerr Memorial at 411
1Cory Hedgecock was one of 32 Crate Late Models on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the annual J.T. Kerr Memorial. Registering the fastest time overall in qualifying, Hedgecock earned the pole position for the A-Main. Leading flag-to-flag, Cory cruised to his 11th win of the season over Jensen Ford, Ross White, Pierce McCarter, and Greg Martin. June 16, 2018 - Hedgecock Places in Top 5 With Southern All Stars at Smoky Mountain
1Saturday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Big Daddy 500. Failing to lock his spot into the show via qualifying, Hedgecock scored a consolation victory positioning him 11th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Cory passed six cars in the 50-lapper reeling in a 5th place finish behind Tommy Kerr, Casey Roberts, Shanon Buckingham, and Riley Hickman. (Michael Moats photo)

June 9, 2018 - Pair of Top 5 Finishes With DLCS in Rumble on the Gumbo
On Friday night Cory Hedgecock traveled to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the two-day Rumble on the Gumbo. Drawing 30 Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series entries, Hedgecock locked his spot into the opening night feature with the fastest time overall in his qualifying group. Rolling off 2nd, Cory dropped one spot in the 40-lapper to place 3rd behind Jake Knowles and Ashton Winger with Ashley Newman and Oakley Johns completing the Top-5 finishers.

Returning on Saturday for the $2,500 to prize, Hedgecock laid down the sixth fastest time in qualifying positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. Breaking into the Top-5, Cory jumped up one spot reeling in a 4th place finish behind Ashton Winger, Ashley Newman, and Austin Horton with Austin Burns coming in 5th.

June 2, 2018 - Hedgecock Captures First Career National Touring Win with World of Outlaws Victory at 411
1Friday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) kicking off the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series doubleheader. In a field of 29 Super Late Models, Hedgecock followed up the fourth fastest qualifying time with a 10-lap heat race victory. Receiving the 3rd-starting position for the feature after the redraw, Hedgecock blasted past race-leader David Breazeale on lap 23 and held the top spot for the next 27 circuits to pick up his first career national touring series win and a $10,000 payday. The win marked Hedgecock’s 10th on the season. Jimmy Owens, Mike Marlar, Chris Madden, and Michael Chilton completed the Top-5 finishers in the 50-lapper.

The following night at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the East Tennessee Shootout, Cory dropped one spot in his heat race to place 6th. Earning the 16th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win feature, Hedgecock gained three positions reeling in a 13th place outing.
