February 24, 2018 - Hedgecock Bags First Win of the Season in Super at the Gap
1Saturday night brought Cory Hedgecock to Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks for the third annual Frostbuster. Timing in fifth fastest in a field of 12 Super Late Models, Hedgecock earned the 5th-starting position for the A-Main. Overtaking race-leader Chicky Barton on lap 22, Cory Hedgecock held off the field in the remaining 13 circuits to capture his first win of the season and a $3,500 payday. In a field of 20 Crate Late Models, Hedgecock recorded the fifth fastest time in qualifying positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the main event. With $1,500 on the line, Cory improved two spots in the 25-lap affair to place 3rd behind Anthony White and Rusty Ballenger with Trevor Sise and Josh Henry rounding out the Top-5.

February 3, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in Cabin Fever at Boyd's Speedway
1Cory Hedgecock kicked off the 2018 season on Saturday night at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) pulling double duty for the annual Cabin Fever. In a field of 41 Super Late Models, Hedgecock recorded the second fastest time in his qualifying group earning him the 4th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Working his way into a podium spot, Cory jumped up two positions to place 2nd behind John Ownbey with Michael Page, Riley Hickman, and Jimmy Elliott rounding out the Top 5. (Chad Wells photo)

In a stout field of 55 Crate Late Models, Hedgecock popped a head gasket before qualifying ending his night early.
