April 28, 2018 - Hedgecock Wins NeSmith Opener at Talladega Short Track
1Following the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, Cory Hedgecock headed to Talladega Short Track on Friday evening for the two-day NASCAR Weekend. Drawing a stout field of 50 Crate Late Models, Cory locked his spot into the A-Main with the fastest time overall in his qualifying group. Earning the pole position for the opening night feature, Hedgecock held off Michael Page in the 40-lap affair reeling in his seventh win of the season and a $2,000 payday. During the same night in the Super Late Model division, Hedgecock posted a 2nd place finish in the feature trailing Austin Horton across the finish line with Riley Hickman, Donald McIntosh, and Jason Hiett rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday night for the NeSmith and Southern All Star Series sanctioned program, Cory posted the third fastest time in his Crate Late Model positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the feature. With $2,500 on the line, Hedgecock dropped one spot in the 50-lapper logging a 6th place finish.

In a field of 40 Southern All Star Series entries, Hedgecock locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth fastest time in his qualifying group. Reeling in a Top-5 finish in the feature, Cory notched a 4th place spot behind Austin Horton, Ronnie Johnson, and Michael Page with Riley Hickman coming in 5th.

April 21, 2018 - Cory Hedgecock Inherits Win at Camden Speedway
Friday night found Cory Hedgecock in action at Camden Speedway (Camden, Tennessee) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series season opener. In a field of 34 cars, Hedgecock secured his spot into the opening night feature with the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group. Rolling off 7th, Cory gained five spots in the 40-lapper to place 2nd behind Christian Hanger with Grant Garrison, Ashton Winger, and Logan Brown completing the Top-5 finishers. After tire samples from the race were completed, the winner' tire were found illegal and Hedgecock inherited the victory to give him his sixth of the season.

The following night with 27 NeSmith entries on hand at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), Cory recorded the third fastest time in his group positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the feature. With $2,500 on the line, Hedgecock got sentenced to the tail after making contact with the leader on lap-22. Wheeling his way into the Top-10 in the remaining 28 circuits, Cory Hedgecock reeled in a 6th place finish.

April 14, 2018 - Hedgecock Records Two-Win Weekend; Improves 13 Spots in Scott Sexton Memorial at Volunteer Speedway
1Cory Hedgecock invaded Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday evening competing in a field of 26 Crate Late Models. Following the fastest time overall in qualifying, Hedgecock cruised to a heat race victory positioning him on the pole for the feature. With only four cars finishing on the lead lap, Cory streaked to his fourth win of the season topping Rusty Ballenger, Lamar Scoggins, Chip Reynolds, and Jimmy Elliott.

On Saturday night Cory stopped at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) powering his Super and Crate Late Model. In a field of 26 cars for the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned Scott Sexton Memorial, Hedgecock earned the 18th-starting position for the $10,052-to-win feature via preliminary events. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Cory charged through the field 13 spots in the 52-lap affair to place 5th behind Dale McDowell, Donald McIntosh, Jimmy Owens, and Casey Roberts.

In the Crate division, Cory recorded the fourth fastest time in a field of 26 cars positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Using the high-side to navigate his way to the front, Hedgecock outran Trevor Sise, Jesse Lowe, Brandon Williams and Gary Crittenden in the 24-lap affair to register his fifth win of the season.
