June 24, 2017 - Cory Hedgecock Wins in New Steelhead Late Model at 411
1Trying to get his new Steelhead Late Model dialed in, Cory Hedgecock visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday for the regular night of racing.  Timing in fourth fastest in a field of 15 cars, Hedgecock earned the 4th-starting spot for the feature. Pacing his way to the front, Hedgecock overtook the lead on lap 19 and never let go in the remaining circuits, capturing his fourteenth win of the season over Eddie King Jr., Jason Cardwell, Chase King, and John Henry.

June 10, 2017 - Hedgecock Dominant in J.T. Kerr Memorial at 411 Motor Speedway For Second Year In-A-Row
1Cory Hedgecock was back in action with the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series on Friday kicking off the two-night affair in The Volunteer State. In a field of 20 cars at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee), Hedgecock timed in third fastest in qualifying positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Battling for a $2,000 payday, Cory led the opening 32 laps but settled with a 2nd place finish when the checkered the flag flew trailing Jesse Lowe across the finish line with Colton Horner, Walker Arthur, and Logan Roberson completing the Top 5 finishers.

1The following night with 24 entries on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the J.T. Kerr Memorial, Hedgecock posted the fastest time overall in time trials locking him into the pole position for the A-Main. Taking control of the lead on the opening lap, Cory led the following 39 circuits capturing his thirteen win of the season over Jimmy Elliott, Rusty Ballenger, Shep Lucas, and Matt Henderson. Running in the Steelhead division during the same night, Hedgecock followed up the fifth fastest time in qualifying with a 3rd place finish in the feature behind Chase King and Jason Caldwell with Trevor Sise and Ruben Mayfield rounding out the Top 5.

June 3, 2017 - Cory Hedgecock Sweeps Dixie Doubleheader Nationals
1Pulling double duty for the Dixie Doubleheader Nationals, Cory Hedgecock invaded to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series event and the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series sanctioned contest. Laying down the fastest time overall in both classes in qualifying, Hedgecock earned the pole position for both features. Battling for the $2,500-to-win School’s Out Bash, Cory took the lead on the drop of the green flag and never let go, capturing his eleventh win of the season. (Kevin Prater photos)

1For the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, Hedgecock took over the lead on the opening lap and held on for all 50 circuits, reeling in his twelfth win on the year and a $3,000 payday. After the race, Cory stated "The car was awesome. This thing I think was better than the 604 car, something was going wrong in the motor. Not sure if it wasn't knocking a bearing out or something. I couldn't see even it was vibrating so hard going down the straightaway. Not sure if it wasn't trying to pitch the driveshaft out or (if it was) the motor. It was just not happy. I just kept counting the laps down, saying let's get to 50.”

Cory continues to lead the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series point standings and is just a few markers out of the lead in the second position in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series standings.
