July 29, 2017 - Three Win-Week For Cory Hedgecock
1Monday night saw Cory Hedgecock visit Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) competing in a field of 23 Crate Late Models. Following the fastest time overall in qualifying, Cory coasted to a heat race win positioning him on the pole for the feature. Leading wire-to-wire, Hedgecock streaked to his nineteenth win of the season over John Owenby, Chip Brindle, Sam Seawright, and Grant Pearl. He was awarded a $1,200 payday for his efforts.

1Thursday night brought Cory to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) running in Super and Steelhead Late Model divisions. With 15 Supers signed in for the Schaeffer Oil Southern National Series sanctioned event, Hedgecock posted a 7th place finish in his heat race earning him the 11th-starting position for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. Losing four spots in the 35-lapper, Cory registered a 15th place outing.

1In the Steelhead ranks, Cory held off the field late in the race to pick up his 20th win of the season over Ryan King, Chase King, Josh Henry, and Layne Clifton.  

Following a rainout on Friday night at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee), Hedgecock stopped at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Saturday evening. Earning the pole position for the feature via qualifying, Cory outran the 17-car field capturing his 21st win of the year topping Ryan King, Jordan Rodabaugh, Paul Tims, and Barry Goodman at the finish line.

July 22, 2017 - Hedgecock Bags Two-Win Weekend at Volunteer and I-75
1Pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks, Cory Hedgecock returned to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Tuesday night for the Southern Nationals Series sanctioned event. Drawing 29 cars for the third stop of the tour, Hedgecock timed eleventh fastest in his group earning him the 5th-starting position for his heat race. Needing to place in the Top 4 to make the $3,500-to-win A-Main, Cory fell one spot short with a 5th place outing.

1Following the second fastest time overall in a field of 18 Crate Late Models, Cory Hedgecock topped the field in the 20-lap feature picking his sixteenth win of the season and a $1,200 payday. Jason Welshan, Ross White, Gregg Martin, and Jesse Lowe completed the Top 5 finishers.

1On Friday night Cory visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) powering both his Crate and Steelhead Late Model for the regular night of racing. Earning the pole position for the Crate Late Model feature after timing in fastest overall, Hedgecock dominated the 30-lap feature en route to his seventeenth win of the season over Ross White, Forrest Trent, Kyle Courtney, and Mack McCarter. In the Steelhead division, Hedgecock jumped up three spots in the A-Main notching a runner-up finish behind Chase King with Jason Cardwell, Trevor Sise, and Jason Trammell completing the Top 5 finishers.

1The following night brought Cory to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) piloting the Stanley and Sharon Shadden owned #9 Steelhead Late Model. After timing in fastest overall in qualifying, Hedgecock coasted to his eighteenth win of the season in the 25-lap feature topping Brad Coffey, Jordan Rodabaugh, Michael Courtney, and Johnny Ridings at the finish line.

July 15, 2017 - Hedgecock Suffers Flat Tire While Leading at 411
1Powering the Cushman #09 Steelhead Late Model, Cory Hedgecock traveled to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Timing in second fastest overall in a field of 22 cars, Hedgecock earned a front-row starting position for the feature alongside Chase King. Suffering a flat left-rear tire on the second lap while leading, Hedgecock was forced pitside bringing an early end to his night.

July 8, 2017 - Pair of Podium Finishes at Volunteer Speedway
1Competing with the United Crate Racing Alliance (UCRA), Cory Hedgecock visited Crossville Raceway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night for the $2,500 top prize. After taking part in qualifying in a field of 28 Crate Late Models, Cory was a scratch from the 40-lap feature.

1On Saturday night Hedgecock stopped at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) competing in both his Crate and Steelhead Late Model. Following the fourth fastest time in the Steelhead division, Cory notched a 3rd place finish in the feature trailing Trevor Size and Chase King across the finish line with Jason Cardwell and Layne Clifton completing the Top 5 finishers.

In the 30-lap Crate Late Model feature, Cory Hedgecock reeled in a runner-up finish behind Ross White with Tim Byrd, Gary Crittenden, and Josh Henry rounding out the Top 5.

July 3, 2017 - Hedgecock Victorious in NeSmith Stop at Talladega Short Track
1After Mother Nature postponed the weekend opener at ECM Speedway (Bremen, Alabama), Cory Hedgecock made the trip to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Sunday for the opening night of the Salute to America Nationals. Drawing 37 Crate Late Models for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series event, Hedgecock timed in second fastest overall in qualifying locking him on the front row for the feature. After running into the Top 5 early, Cory made the decision to head pitside after lap 36 as track conditions continued to get worse. He was credited with a 14th place outing.

1Monday night brought Hedgecock to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) to compete with a field of 38 NeSmith Crate Late Models. Laying down the fifth fastest time overall, Cory earned the 5th-starting position for the feature. Topping the field by more than two seconds, Cory Hedgecock stormed to his fifteenth win of the year and a $2,000 payday. Jake Knowles, Brad Berry, Austin Horton, and Jimmy Elliott completed the Top 5 finishers.
