May 30, 2016 - Hedgecock Battles Back After Rough Start to Weekend
1Kicking off the Memorial Day weekend, Cory Hedgecock headed to Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Friday night for the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals sanctioned event. Drawing a stout field of forty-six Super Late Models, Hedgecock came up shot for a bid into the $4,000-to-win A-Main during preliminary events.

Hopping in his Crate Late Model, Cory traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the NeSmith sanctioned show. After a rough qualifying session, Hedgecock got caught up with another car in his heat race bringing his night to an early end again.

On Sunday afternoon Cory made the trip to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) to a staggering field of forty-six Crate Late Models.  With a few adjustments under the hood before qualifying, Hedgecock had the car dialed in earning him a 6th place starting spot for the feature.  Holding his starting position for the entire distance, Cory Hedgecock recorded a 6th place finish.

1Closing out the action-packed weekend, Hedgecock stopped at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) on Monday for the Southern National Bonus Series event. In a field of twenty-six cars for the Memorial Day Championship, Cory parked his Super Late Model in the top ten in the feature. With $4,000 on the line, Cory Hedgecock notched a 9th place outing. May 21, 2016 - Cory Grabs a Pair of Top Five Finishes at Crossville
1Running with the Southern National Bonus Series, Corey Hedgecock made the trip to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Saturday night for the Plateau 50. In a field of thirty Super Late Models, Hedgecock earned a front row starting spot for the feature starting alongside Donald McIntosh. Slipping one spot in the 50-lap A-Main, Hedgecock recorded a 3rd place finish behind McIntosh and Mike Marlar with Shanon Buckingham and Billy Ogle Jr. rounding out the top five.

Cory also competed in the Crate Late Model division on Saturday where he found himself in the top five when the checkers flew in the feature finishing behind John Owenby, Jesse Lowe, and Anthony White with Jason Welshan coming in 5th.

May 7, 2016 - Hedgecock Notches Win Number Eight at I-75 Raceway
1Cory Hedgecock visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Friday night competing in a field of fifteen cars. Posting the second fastest time in qualifying behind Ryan King, Cory earned the pole position starting spot for the feature after King went with the high-side. Regaining the 2nd place spot after a late race caution, Hedgecock held on for a runner-up finish behind King with Greg Estes, Jason Cardwell, and Trevor Sise rounding out the top five.

1Saturday brought Cory to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) wheeling the #23 Steelhead Late Model for the second straight night. Battling in a field of twelve cars for the feature, Hedgecock soared to his eighth victory of the season with Justin Summers, Brad Coffey, Ruben Mayfield, and Tyler Adams completing the top five finishers.
