July 30, 2016 - Hedgecock Places 2nd at 411 Motor Speedway
1Returning with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Cory Hedgecock made the trip to Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Tuesday night for the seventh stop of the series. Drawing 35 competitors, Hedgecock posted a 3rd place finish in his heat earning him a 20th-starting spot for the feature. Moving up five positions in the 35-lapper, Cory logged a 15th place finish.

1Running in the Crate Late Model division on Saturday, Cory headed to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the $1,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 18 cars, Hedgecock followed up the fastest lap in time-trials with a dash victory. Earning the pole position for the feature, Cory lost the lead on the first lap but regained his spot after a tight three-way battle for the lead. Hanging on to a podium finish, Cory Hedgecock landed a 2nd place spot behind Josh Henry with Jesse Lowe, Ross White, and Pierce McCarter rounding out the Top 5.

July 23, 2016 - Top Ten Finish for Hedgecock in His Southern Nationals Debut
1Behind the wheel of his SmithBilt Homes #23 Crate Late Model, Cory Hedgecock visited Crossville Raceway (Crossville, Tennessee) on Friday night for the regular night of racing. Competing in a field of sixteen cars, Hedgecock was slated to start 4th for the feature follow preliminary action. Receiving the front-row starting position after the many failed attempts at starting the race, Hedgecock cruised to his fourteenth win of the season over Anthony White, Jesse Low, Josh Henry, and Rusty Ballinger. 1On Saturday night Hedgecock made a last minute decision to stop at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) after weather ruined his initial plans. Timing in 3rd fastest in a field of eighteen Steelhead Late Models, Cory earned a 3rd place starting position for the feature. Holding his spot for the entire distance of the A-Main, Hedgecock posted a 3rd place finish behind Trevor Sise and Matt Henderson with Gary Crittenden and Ruben Mayfield rounding out the top five.

July 19, 2016 - Top Ten Finish for Hedgecock in His Southern Nationals Debut
1Battling in the second stop of the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Cory Hedgecock visited 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Tuesday night for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. In a field of thirty-one cars, Hedgecock stormed to a heat race locking his spot into the show. July 16, 2016 - Cory Wins and Takes 2nd at Greenville Rumble on the Gumbo
1Competing in the two-day Rumble on the Gumbo, Cory Hedgecock made the trip to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series event. Scoring a heat race victory in a field of twenty-two Crate Late Models, Hedgecock earned a 3rd place starting spot for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way through lap-traffic, Cory took the lead on lap 17 and never looked back for the remaining 23 laps picking up his thirteenth win of the season over Scott Dedwylder, Greg Fore, Michael Arnold, and Chase edge.

1On Saturday Hedgecock timed in 2nd fastest behind Chase Edge, setting him up with a 2nd place starting spot for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. Holding his position for all 40-laps, Hedgecock notched a runner-up finish behind Michael Arnold with Justin McRee, Greg Fore, and Mike Palasini Jr. rounding out the top five.

July 9, 2016 - Hedgecock Looks to Remaib Perfect at I-75 Raceway
1On Saturday night Cory Hedgecock looked to keep up his undefeated streak on the season at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) for the regular night of racing. Starting the night off by posting a new track record in the Steelhead Late Model division, Hedgecock landed a podium finish in the feature. Trying to battle through lap-traffic in the feature, Cory posted a runner-up finish behind Jason Manley with Tim Ladd, Ryan Tims, and Benjy Shaw trailing them across the finish line.

July 3, 2016 - Three Runner-up Finishes for Hedgecock in the NeSmith Series
1Running with the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, Cory Hedgecock kicked off the three-day stint with the series by traveling to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Friday night. After posting the fastest time in a field of twenty-nine cars, Hedgecock earned the pole position starting spot for the A-Main. Jumping out to the lead on the drop of the green flag, Cory led the first 26 laps until surrendering the top spot to Riley Hickman with 14 to go. Hanging on the 2nd place position, Cory Hedgecock posted a runner-up finish behind Hickman with Cruz Skinner, Will Roland, and Scott Dedwylder rounding out the top five.

On Saturday night the NeSmith followers headed to Penton Raceway (Penton, Alabama) where Hedgecock started the night off with the 3rd fastest time in a field of twenty-two. Hanging on to a podium finish in the 40-lap A-Main, Cory registered a runner-up finish behind Shep Lucas with Ronnie Johnson, Chase Edge, and Will Roland trailing them to the checkers.  

Closing out the 4th of July weekend with the NeSmith series, Hedgecock traveled to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Sunday for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. After timing in 17th quick in a field of twenty-three, Cory Hedgecock stormed through the field fifteen spots in the feature event to capture a runner-up finish behind Montana Dudley with Scott Dedwylder, Brandon Williams, and Chase Edge completing the top five.
