August 27, 2016 - Cory Wins in Limited Late Model at I-75 Raceway
1Powering his Eagle Racing Engines #23 Limited Late Model, Cory Hedgecock visited I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Friday night for the regular night of racing. In a field of 13 cars, Hedgecock earned pole for the feature via preliminary events. Bringing home his 17th victory of the season, Cory outdueled Benjy Shaw, Brad Coffey, Ryan Tims, and Johnny Ridings in the A-Main.

1On Saturday Cory made the last-minute decision to travel to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) to compete in the Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned program. Transferring the Top 5 out of the heats, Hedgecock landed a 5th place finish earning him the 20th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Passing 7 cars in the 40-lap feature, Cory posted a 13th place finish.

August 13, 2016 - Hedgecock Lands Top 10 Finish at I-75 Raceway
1Competing with the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, Cory Hedgecock headed to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Friday night for the $2,000-to-win show. Timing in fastest in a field of 22 Super Late Models, Hedgecock earned the pole position for the feature. Hanging on to a Top 10 finish, Cory posted a 7th place outing in the 30-lapper.

1On Saturday night Cory returned with the Chevy series at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee). Laying down the 4th fastest time in a field of 29 cars, Hedgecock rolled off 4th for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Suffering some issues with his rear-end late in the event, Cory Hedgecock was an early retiree from the 50-lap A-Main. (Bruce Carroll Photo)

August 6, 2016 - Two-Win Weekend for Hedgecock Puts Overall Win Tally at 16
1On Friday night Cory Hedgecock visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) for the unsanctioned Fan Appreciation Night. In a field of 17 Steelhead Late Models, Hedgecock earned the 2nd-starting position for the feature following preliminary events. Storming to his 15th win of the season, Cory topped Jason Trammell, John Tweed, Barrett Lowe, and Trevor Sise in the in the feature event. Hedgecock claimed a $1,200 payday for his 30-lap A-Main victory.

1The following night brought Cory to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series sanctioned event. With 33 cars signed in for the J.T. Kerr Memorial, Hedgecock timed in overall fastest putting him on the pole for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Leading from flag-to-flag, Cory Hedgecock cruised to win number 16 over Ronnie Johnson, Tanner Works, Brandon Williams, and Heath Hindman in the 40-lapper.
