March 9, 2025 – – – The Cory Hedgecock Motorsports team was in the pit area at the nearby I-75 Raceway on Saturday night, March 8 for the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series (HTF) season opener. A strong contingent of 44 Super Late Model competitors piled into the Sweetwater, Tennessee facility to do battle for the $20,000 first place prize money.
Cory Hedgecock went sixth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session before starting and finishing third in his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the 50-lap headliner, Cory helped put on a great show in front of his local fans. The Loudon, Tennessee ace blasted past nine competitors during the contest to land on the podium in third behind only victor Ricky Weiss and runner-up Daulton Wilson.
